Heading:
Lync Attendee is prompted to use for Online Meetings
even though Lync client installed.
Symptom:
Users who has Lync client installed try joining Online Meeting, Lync attendee client
is being prompted to use for the Meeting instead of using existing Lync Client.
Cause:
Default internet browser is not set to Internet Explorer which is causing this while
joining the Lync meeting.
Resolution:
Select one of the browsers as a default. Lync supports the following browsers:

In order to change the default browser to
Internet Explorer, Go to "Start - Control Panel - Internet Options - Programs - Default
