Resolution:
You need to have the right
version of SQL server running on the backend. Lync Server 2010 supports the following
64-bit versions of SQL Server:

Standard or Enterprise Edition of SQL Server 2005 with Service Pack 3
·
Standard or Enterprise Edition of SQL Server 2008 with Service Pack 1
