Support for 64 bit Operating Systems

Office Communications Server 2007 supports the following tested 64-bit configurations

The 64-bit edition of SQL Serverâ„¢ 2005 SP1 on the Back-End Database of an Enterprise pool or the Archiving and CDR database

Running the 32-bit version of the Access Edge Server on 64-bit hardware with WOW64 mode on the 64-bit edition of Windows Server 2003 SP1 and above

Running the 32-bit version of the A/V Edge Server on 64-bit hardware without WOW64 mode on the 64-bit edition of Windows Server 2003 SP1 and above

Running the 32-bit version of Standard Edition server on 64-bit hardware with WOW64 mode on the 64-bit edition of Windows Server 2003 SP1 and above.

If you install OCS 2007 server (Enterprise Edition or Standard Edition or Edge Servers) on a 64 bit machine, you wont be able to manage the OCS or Edge servers through default MMC.

follow the steps mentioned below to be able to do so!

 Start => Run => type mmc.exe -32 => click OK then add the OCS mmc for the front End and add computer management for the Edge Servers
