Macintosh and OCS 2007 clients

There are three clients for Macintosh platform:

· 1: Mac Messenger 7.0
· 2: Communicator web Access
· 4: Live Meeting Web Console

Mac Messenger 7.0 :

This is the Mac client which supports an OCS 2007 user with Enhanced Presence enabled. Previous version of Mac Messenger doesn't support an OCS 2007 user due to their incapability to understand Enhanced Presence feature. Mac Messenger provides real time collaboration service with two types of communication services:

Personal Account : for Windows Live Messenger service.

Corporate Account : for OCS 2007 service.

Which Mac we can run it on? : We can run it on PowerPC and Intel based Macs.

Will it work with LCS 2005? : No. It wont run with LCS 2005. Only OCS 2007 users with enhanced presence enabled can login to Mac Messenger 7. If your organization is running LCS 2005, use Mac Messenger 6.

What is Bonjour support on Mac Messenger 7.0:

This is a newly launched feature in Mac Messenger 7.0 and its not available in any other version or type of messenger. It enables a Mac Messenger user to connect with people on local network.

Live Meeting for Mac: Following features are available for users on Mac using Microsoft office Live Meeting.        Join LM sessions
Join audio through telephone conferencing (Call me)
Downloading handouts
Share desktop
Features such as whiteboarding, polls, Q&A
Following features are not available for users on Mac using Microsoft office Live Meeting.
Computer audio
Webcam & RoundTable video support
Uploading content from Mac
English only user interface

Supported Languages for Mac Messenger 7 : Spanish, German, French, Italian, Finnish, Danish, English, Japanese, Dutch, Swedish, Norway
