Isn’t it great to have this feature in Microsoft Office
Communicator (MOC 2007)? Certainly… yes! Recently I stumbled over an application
which can help you having this feature in MOC. The application is provided by Geomant.
It provides an SMS plug-in for OCS 2007. Geomant's SMS for Microsoft Communicator
enables SMS Text message to be sent directly from Microsoft Communicator.
SMS Plug-In Components

Server application: The server application interfaces
with OCS 2007 and initiates outbound SMS text messages.

Client application: The client application allows SMS
text messages to be initiated from the contact list or during a conversation.

Geomant SMS Services: Geomant's SMS service provides an
on-line 'pay as you go' service for delivering outbound SMS text messages anywhere
in the world. There is no requirement to invest in a separate SMS gateway or integrate
OCS with such a gateway. Messages can be delivered so they appear to come from the
initiator's mobile phone, allowing replies to be sent direct to that mobile phone.The
