Steps to configure the certificate

If you have internal CA (Certification Authority) then its always recommended to use the internal CA to create the certificate for the OCS Front End Server. But if you don't have internal CA then you need to purchase the certificate FROM Public CAs for the OCS Front End server.

Follow the following steps in order to create the certificate request and assign the cert to the OCS Server.

Now submit the ocs_certreq.txt file to the Public CAs. After receiving the certificate from Public CA, save the file with .cer extension, and follow the following steps to import the certificate on the OCS Front End Server.

After importing the certificate, run the certificate wizard again to assign the certificate.
