Steps to install an Access Edge Server

Followings are the steps to Install an Access Edge Server

 Log on as a member of the Administrators group to the server where you want to install the Access Edge Service. If you want to activate the Access Edge Service immediately after installation, you must also log on as a member of the DomainAdmins and RTCUniversalServerAdmins groups.

Insert the Microsoft Office Communications Server 2007 CD. Setup starts and launches the deployment tool. If you are installing the Access Edge Service from a network share, go to the \Setup\I386 folder on the share, and then double-click setup.exe.

Note: If Systems Management Server (SMS) is running on the computer, stop the SMS service.
