Steps to install an A/V Edge Server

Followings are the steps to Install an A/V Edge Server

 Log on as a member of the Administrators group to the server where you want to install the A/V Edge Service. If you want to activate the A/V Edge Service immediately after installation, you must also log on as a member of the DomainAdmins and RTCUniversalServerAdmins groups.

Insert the Microsoft Office Communications Server 2007 CD. Setup starts and launches the deployment tool. If you are installing the A/V Edge Service from a network share, go to the \Setup\I386 folder on the share, and then double-click setup.exe.

Note: If Systems Management Server (SMS) is running on the computer, stop the SMS service.
