Configure a Web Conferencing Edge Server

Open Computer Management console and right Click the Edge Service to go to "OCS 2007 Properties". Click "Configure" under Internal Interface option.

Select an IP Address to be used for internal interface. This IP Address will be used to connect with the OCS Pool\Server.

Select a certificate. The certificate should have the FQDN in subject name which is configured on the OCS Global properties under "Access Edge and Web Conferencing Edge Servers". Certificate subject name should be the internal FQDN of the Web Conf edge Server, if you have only one Web Conf Edge Server. Certificate subject name should be the internal load balancer virtual name, if you have more than one Web Conf Edge Server.

Click "Configure" under Web Conferencing Edge Server option.

Select an IP Address to be used for external interface. This IP Address should be registered on the Public DNS server against Web Conferencing Edge public FQDN (External FQDN of the Web Conferencing Edge Server). Or, this IP Address should be NATED with the External IP Address of the Web Conferencing Edge Server.

Select a certificate. The certificate should have the FQDN in subject name which is registered on the public DNS. Certificate subject name should be the external FQDN of the Web Conferencing Edge Server.

Note: If you are co-locating an Access Edge Server with Web Conferencing Edge Server, You can keep the same external name and external IP Address. Microsoft recommends to host both Edge Services on the same server.

Now go to "internal" tab.

Type the "Next hop network address". It should be the OCS poolname or OCS Server name or OCS Director if you have any!

Add Domain. It should be supported list of SIP domains.

Add Servers. It should be the OCS Front End Servers or a Director.

Make sure "Allow remote user access to your network" and "Allow anonymous users to join meetings" are checked on.
